Nevada State Democratic Party Launches Voter Protection Hotline for Critical Midterm Election

LAS VEGAS — The Nevada State Democratic Party released the following statement announcing the rollout of its voter protection hotline:

“As we approach one of the most critical midterm elections of our lifetimes, it’s never been more important to ensure that every Nevadan can make their voice heard. Early voting has been open for just over a week now, and we’re calling on all Democrats to vote early or vote by mail! We’re ready and waiting to help Democrats defend their right to vote by making our voter protection hotline available at (877) 959-DEMS (3367).”

“This past year has seen unprecedented levels of disinformation and hostility surrounding the integrity of Nevada’s elections,” said NV Dems Executive Director Matthew Fonken, “We’ve set up this hotline because every Nevadan deserves the right to cast their ballot without being concerned for their safety.”

“We know the stakes of this election are too high for us to cede a single seat to extremists,” said NV Dems Chair Judith Whitmer, “Our reproductive freedoms, union rights, and the future of our democracy itself are all at stake. That’s why we have our voter protection hotline, and why we’ve made recommendations up and down the ballot in our voter guides for all 17 counties in Nevada. (Voter guides are available at nvdems.com/voterguides.)

“Keeping Nevada blue will take all of us. Now, as always, when Democrats stand together, Democrats win.”
