As Trump Campaigned in Nevada, Senators Cortez Masto and Rosen Got Out the Vote

While Donald Trump visited Las Vegas yesterday morning, Senators Catherine Cortez Masto and Jacky Rosen got out the vote at the East Las Vegas Community Center, a central fixture for Las Vegas’ Latino community. After offering remarks encouraging Nevadans to vote and turn out their families and friends, the Senators made their voices heard by voting early.

The Senators highlighted Nevadans’ voting options while denouncing Trump’s failed presidency as he made campaign stops in the state:

“There is so much at stake. For the last three years, I have watched as this administration has torn our families apart, has literally tried to take away our health care, has done nothing for our families, children, education and jobs.” said Senator Catherine Cortez Masto. “We need a president who is focused on uniting this country and showing the rest of the world who we truly are… That person is Joe Biden.”

“In Nevada, we know our health care is on the line, especially amid this pandemic. ” said Senator Jacky Rosen. “Nevadans have felt the impacts during this global crisis, and we want real leadership, and that is a Biden-Harris ticket. I was proud to cast my ballot for them today.”
