NV Dems Launch Voter Education Effort, Resources to Get out the Vote

Today, Nevada Democrats gathered via Zoom to launch a voter education effort to inform voters of their new voting options and get out the vote ahead of November. NV Dems Chair William McCurdy II, candidate for Senate District 15 Wendy Jauregui-Jackins, Assembly Speaker Jason Frierson, and Governor Steve Sisolak laid out the case for electing Joe Biden, Kamala Harris and Democrats up and down the ballot. With so much at stake in this election–from endless attacks on our health care, to a cratering economy, to a Republican Party unwilling to acknowledge the global pandemic plaguing our country–Nevada Democrats are committed to doing everything we can to educate Nevadans and get out the vote.

The Nevada Victory team launched a new website–NevadaVotesEarly.com–to provide voters with the resources they need to make their voices heard. Answers to questions about voter registration, how to vote by mail, information on in-person voting, what Nevadans need to know if they’re a first-time voter in 2020, and so much more are provided there.

We’ve gathered community leaders and elected leaders across the state to help us spread the word through voting public service announcements and will continue to release messages in Spanish and English as voting begins in Nevada.
