NV Dems Host Build Back Better Weekend of Action

Yesterday, NV Dems field organizers and volunteers concluded a successful Build Back Better weekend of action engaging with Nevada voters to discuss Joe Biden’s plan to help our economy recover and set our country up for a clean energy future. This weekend of action follows the release of Biden’s plan to create millions of good-paying jobs and to give America’s working families the tools, choices, and freedom they need to build back better. Former presidential candidate Tom Steyer kicked off the first phonebank of the weekend by discussing Biden’s plan to create millions of clean energy jobs and achieve net-zero emissions by 2050.

NV Dems hosted statewide textbanks and region-specific phonebanks to share Biden’s message for Nevada’s future, turn voters out, and recruit volunteers to help us win in November. Across Saturday and Sunday, volunteers completed hundreds of shifts and had thousands of conversations with Nevadans.

NV Dems continue to expand our field team and grow our volunteer base, utilizing digital organizing tools to engage Nevadans and share Democrats’ plan for our state and our country. Following Biden becoming the presumptive Democratic nominee, our team has doubled in size and our field team has tripled.

Nevada State Democratic Party Chair William McCurdy II released the following statement:

“With a little more than 100 days until Election Day and less than that until the start of early voting in Nevada, NV Dems are utilizing every tool and tactic to share Joe Biden’s message and provide a contrast to Donald Trump’s dangerous agenda. We know we have the upper hand in this fight, but, in our state, we don’t take anything for granted. That’s why we’re building out a winning team and working around the clock to turn voters out in November. Nevada’s hardworking families have been through enough with four years of broken promises and ineffective leadership from Donald Trump and voters will make that clear at the ballot box.”
