Last week, the Nevada State Democratic Party was joined by Congresswoman Susie Lee for the sixth installment of our virtual town halls to update Nevadans on her campaign and answer their questions. Lee was joined by NV Dems Field Organizer Mac McMurphy to talk about her campaign, to hear from the Democratic community and to answer Nevadans’ questions–from legislation she’s working on to help Nevadans get through this pandemic, to her biggest challenges in Congress, to activities she’s embraced while in quarantine.
If you missed it, you can watch here.
Congresswoman Susie Lee represents Congressional District 3–the most competitive district on the ballot in November. Lee comes from a working-class family, has extensive experience working with nonprofits, and has been a life-long champion for education. She was first elected to Congress in 2018 and is running for reelection to continue her work to break up the dysfunction and gridlock in Washington and find real solutions to problems in her community.
NV Dems began hosting virtual town halls every Friday afternoon last month with guests including NV Senate Majority Leader Nicole Cannizzaro, Assemblywoman Rochelle Nguyen, candidate for SD-5 Kristee Watson, NV Dems Chair William McCurdy, and our Executive Director, Alana Mounce.
