NV Dems Host Successful First Virtual Town Hall

Last week, the Nevada State Democratic Party held its first-ever virtual town hall as we shift our organizing efforts and ramp up our ground game heading into the general election. In practicing social distancing, NV Dems Chair William McCurdy II and Executive Director Alana Mounce joined Nevada Democrats virtually to provide an update on our new organizing efforts, to encourage volunteer participation and to hear from our Democratic community.

If you missed it, you can watch here.

“NV Dems is working full-speed ahead because this November will be the most important election of our lifetime,” said Nevada State Democratic Party Chair William McCurdy II. “I know we hear this often, but this election truly is the most important of our lifetime. Our health care is on the line, ending family separation is on the line, protecting our environment for future generations is on the line. That’s why we’ve shifted gears to ensure we’re reaching as many Nevadans as possible while staying home and staying safe. We’re putting in the work because we believe Nevadans deserve leaders up and down the ballot who will put our families first.”

“I’m grateful to have such a creative team working hard to ensure we waste no time building up our general election ground game,” said Nevada State Democratic Party Executive Director Alana Mounce. “We’ve employed new methods of outreach and expanded on traditional methods that eliminate any in-person interaction to ensure we’re reaching as many Nevadans as possible. With a successful caucus behind us, we’re just getting started. There’s too much at stake in this election to take a break now.”
