NV Dems Certify Hundreds of Caucus Volunteers at Volunteer Summits Across Nevada

This weekend, NV Dems hosted massive volunteer summits in both Reno and Las Vegas to train and certify First in the West Caucus volunteers. Nearly 500 Nevada Democrats showed up to learn more about becoming a caucus volunteer, participate in mock caucuses, and become a certified volunteer.

“Our dedicated Democratic volunteers will play a key role in a successful caucus,” said Senator Cortez Masto. “This summit was an opportunity to come together, learn about the caucus process, and prepare to give Nevada’s caucus-goers a great experience this February. With the support of today’s attendees, Nevada Democrats are creating the most accessible and inclusive caucus in the nation. I can’t wait to see it in action!”

“I am so grateful to the hundreds of volunteers who came out this weekend to help us prepare for our most accessible, expansive and transparent caucus yet!” said Nevada State Democratic Party Chair William McCurdy II. “Executing a smooth caucus to convention process will rely on the help of thousands of volunteers across our state. I also want to thank our incredible organizing team for recruiting more than 2,000 volunteers and ensuring every site lead and precinct captain has the tools they need to make February 22nd a success.”
