Today, the Nevada State Democratic Party announced early voting and Caucus Day locations on the Las Vegas Strip to expand access to our First in the West Caucus. NV Dems began the tradition of hosting workplace caucus sites in 2008 and this February, we will expand those sites into the early voting period.
At 14%, Nevada has the highest union population of any early nominating state. That’s why, in 2020, NV Dems are expanding access to our caucus to hospitality workers on the Las Vegas Strip. With the addition of our Las Vegas Strip locations, NV Dems will offer more than 80 early voting locations across the state. From February 15th through the 18th, early voting sites on the Strip will be uniquely located in the back of house and include one 24-hour location to accommodate every shift. Below is a list of locations open during early voting and on Caucus Day.

Nevada State Democratic Party Chair William McCurdy II released the following statement:
“Having been a union member and organizer, I know firsthand the importance of lifting up the voices of our union brothers and sisters. That’s why NV Dems have been working tirelessly to ensure our First in the West Caucus expands access to our workforce. As the early state with the highest union population, Nevada’s caucuses play an important role as the voice of working families. By continuing to expand access to our caucus to every community and every county, there’s no doubt Nevada will continue to be a bellwether for the direction of the country.”
