Today, the Nevada State Democratic Party announced the expansion of its communications and rapid response team in hiring Molly Forgey as Communications Director and Ethan House as Research Director ahead of the 2019 Legislative Session and the 2020 First in the West Presidential Caucuses.
Ethan House and Molly Forgey most recently worked on Jacky Rosen’s successful bid for United States Senate, as Deputy Research Director and Press Secretary respectively.
Molly Forgey is a native Nevadan who previously served as Deputy Press Secretary for both former Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid and current Senate Democratic Leader Charles E. Schumer. Ethan House previously served as Senior Research Associate for American Bridge 21st Century and former Ohio Governor Ted Strickland’s 2016 United States Senate campaign.
“I am beyond excited to welcome two talented and seasoned operatives who know Nevada and know what it takes to maintain a Democratic stronghold in our state,” said Nevada State Democratic Party Chair William McCurdy II. “Ethan and Molly will be great additions to our team who is working diligently each day to lay the groundwork to ensure Democrats are able to execute our agenda across the state. Nothing is more important than ensuring our Democratic values are represented throughout the West and I am certain both Molly and Ethan will do the work necessary to keep Nevada blue.”
