Nevada State Democratic Party Chairman William McCurdy II issued the following statement on tonight’s primary elections for lieutenant governor, attorney general, secretary of state, treasurer, and controller.
“Tonight, Democrats made their choices clear for Kate Marshall for lieutenant governor, Aaron Ford for attorney general, Nelson Araujo for secretary of state, Zach Conine for treasurer, and Catherine Byrne for controller. With the chance to flip all these Republican-held offices, Democrats have the opportunity to make Nevada an even better place for working families. From ensuring free and fair elections, to taking on scammers and criminals, to creating more jobs and economic growth in Nevada’s communities, these offices are essential to the success of our state and its people. Our candidates are already connecting with voters where they are across the state to listen to their concerns and share their vision for Nevada’s future, and the NV Dems are ready to work hard every day through November to elect Democrats up and down the ticket.”
