Democrats Gain Advantage in Two Nevada Congressional Districts

Today, the Cook Political Report announced a ratings shift for two open Nevada congressional districts. Nevada’s Third Congressional District has shifted from “toss-up” to “lean Democratic” and the Fourth Congressional District has shifted from “lean Democratic” to “likely Democratic.”

Nevada State Democratic Party Executive Director Alana Mounce released the following statement:

“Nevada Democrats have the energy and enthusiasm on our side to win up and down the ballot this year. Nevadans want a representative in Washington who will fight for them, not blindly rubber stamp the disastrous Trump-Republican agenda. Shadowy GOP special interests will do everything they can to take back these seats, and we’ll fight all the way through Election Day to keep them in Democratic control.”
