Heller & Republican Congress Not Done Yet Trying to Attack Health Care Access

New York Times: Individual Mandate Now Gone, G.O.P. Targets the One for Employers

After passing the GOP tax scam that will hike insurance premiums and make health care more expensive for millions of Americans, Sen. Dean Heller and Republicans in Congress are continuing their crusade to sabotage the Affordable Care Act into 2018 by going after employer-covered health insurance.

Stripping away coverage for individuals receiving health care through their jobs could affect roughly half of the country. The number of uninsured Americans has already increased by more than 3 million during President Trump’s first year in office.

Nevada State Democratic Party spokesperson Sarah Abel released the following statement on the GOP’s health care attack:

“Republicans in Congress like Sen. Heller and Mitch McConnell are doubling down on their health care sabotage, and now they’ve set their sights again on stripping away the health insurance that Americans get through their jobs. Nevadans deserve a senator they can count on to protect their health care, which is why they’re ready to dump Sen. Heller in November.”
