This year has not been a good one for Republican attorney general and gubernatorial candidate Adam Laxalt, who has been mired in bad headlines largely of his own making. From repeatedly getting caught on tape crossing ethical lines, to mysteriously trying to be the lone abstainer at an innocent man’s pardon hearing, Laxalt has spent 2017 trying to dodge self-inflicted scandals highlighting his unethical behavior and incompetence.
Nevada State Democratic Party spokesperson Helen Kalla released the following statement:
“No one can take more credit for the terrible narrative around Adam Laxalt than Laxalt himself. He has spent the entire year creating and then running from scandal after scandal demonstrating his lack of character and total ineptitude. To absolutely no one’s surprise, the inexperienced attorney general has proven time and again that he is undeserving of Nevadans’ trust and ill-equipped to lead the Silver State into the future.”
