In a bombshell new report yesterday, Alabama’s Republican nominee for Senate, Roy Moore, is accused of initiating a sexual encounter with a 14-year-old girl when he was 32. Three other women (so far) have also come forward with similar disturbing allegations of sexual misconduct. Republican Senators like John McCain are unequivocally calling on Roy Moore to withdraw from Alabama’s Senate race.
“If you’re engaged in sexual misconduct with minors, you have no business being an elected official,” said Nevada State Democratic Party spokesperson Stewart Boss. “When will Senator Heller stop being a spineless politician and join the growing list of Republican Senators calling on Roy Moore to step aside?”
In September, Heller laughably told the AP that he wasn’t even aware Roy Moore had won Alabama’s Republican primary. “Who won? I wasn’t paying attention,” Heller said. “I’m just worried about taxes.”
