Nevada State Democratic Party Chair William McCurdy II released the following statement on Republican Senator Dean Heller’s health care vote last night:

“Senator Heller walked the plank for President Trump and proved that he’s been playing Nevadans for fools. Last night was a moral test, and Senator Heller failed miserably when he voted for a plan to raise your insurance premiums by 20 percent a year and strip health care from 16 million Americans. The end of Dean Heller’s career in politics will be defined by this shameful vote. He is toast in 2018, and Nevada Democrats are going to work tirelessly to help remove Senator Heller from office.”
