Nevada Democrats Block School Vouchers, Rack Up Accomplishments in 2017 Legislative Session

Carson City, NVToday, Nevada State Democratic Party spokesperson Stewart Boss issued the following statement on the progress achieved under Democratic majorities during the 2017 legislative session:

“Majority Leader Ford and Speaker Frierson deserve high praise for working across the aisle to get results while following through on their Nevada blueprint to empower working families with good-paying jobs, stronger public schools and access to health care. From stopping school vouchers and bringing back solar energy jobs, to protecting LGBT youth, defending women’s access to health care and so much more, Democrats have delivered on a common-sense, forward-thinking agenda. Nevadans should be proud of the progress achieved in 2017 under Democratic majorities.”
