Las Vegas, NV — On Friday, Nevada Secretary of State Barbara Cegavske extended the state’s deadline for mail-in voter registration to Tuesday, October 11 to resolve a conflict between state and federal law. The extension was prompted by a letter sent Friday on behalf of the Nevada State Democratic Party.
“The new deadline for mail-in voter registration is Tuesday, October 11, and this extension will help ensure even more Nevadans are able to register to vote and make their voices heard at the ballot box in this critically important election,” said Nevada State Democratic Party Chair Roberta Lange.“Our field organizers and volunteers will be working tirelessly in communities across the state through Tuesday to ensure as many people as possible get registered.”
