Las Vegas, NV – The Nevada State Democratic Party announced today that it has launched a five-figure digital advertising campaign reminding Nevadans what’s at stake in the 2016 elections and urging voters to commit to caucusing with Democrats on Saturday, February 20. The new ads touch on a wide range of issues, including partisan attacks on Planned Parenthood, protecting Social Security and Medicare, GOP inaction on gun violence, making college more affordable, addressing economic inequality, and standing up to Republican extremists like Donald Trump and Sarah Palin. The ads will appear for desktop and mobile users on Facebook and other online platforms across Nevada through Caucus Day, targeted to reach likely Democratic caucus participants.
“With our First in the West presidential caucuses right around the corner, the Nevada State Democratic Party is launching a significant digital ad buy to underscore why it’s so important for voters to caucus on Saturday, February 20th,” said Zach Zaragoza, Executive Director of the Nevada State Democratic Party. “There’s a stark contrast between our shared Democratic vision of building on President Obama’s progress over the last seven years and the most extreme Republican presidential field in history promising to drag us backwards with their failed policies and divisive rhetoric. In just a few weeks, Nevadans will play a decisive role in selecting the Democratic nominee who will lead our party in 2016 and serve as our 45th President.”
