Las Vegas, NV – Another day, another series of issues where potential US Senate candidate Sharron Angle and ethically-challenged Congressman Heck are two birds of the same feather. This time, immigration. Both Angle and Congressman Heck oppose bipartisan comprehensive immigration reform that even Governor Brian Sandoval and Senator Dean Heller supported.
Going further – Sharron Angle and Congressman Heck both want to repeal birthright citizenship and think Congress should address the “anchor baby issue.” We guess the saying goes – birds of a feather want to repeal the 14th Amendment together.
“Immigration is yet another of a litany of issues where Sharron Angle and ethically-challenged Congressman Heck share the same backwards agenda,” said Nevada State Democratic Party spokesperson Zach Hudson. “Whether it’s their opposition to bipartisan immigration reform that’s supported by Governor Sandoval and Dean Heller, or their proposal to repeal birthright citizenship, Sharron Angle and Congressman Heck are two birds of the same feather on immigration — and that’s alarming for Nevada’s Latino and Asian American and Pacific Islander community.”
