Las Vegas, NV – Yesterday, the Nevada State Democratic Party filed an ethics complaint against Congressman Heck with the Office of Congressional Ethics for abusing taxpayer resources.
Today, Congressman Heck’s office responded by admitting the Congressman’s office broke House ethics laws. No really, they did. Congressman Heck’s office put out a statement today saying their office was changing their policy regarding their abuse of taxpayer resources.
“We appreciate that Congressman Heck has recognized the validity of our complaint by admitting his office violated ethics laws,” said Nevada State Democratic Party spokesperson Zach Hudson. “We hope the policy change Congressman Heck claims his office is implementing will result in his office using its resources to help constituents, not abuse tax dollars.”
