TROUBLED TARK WINS GOP PRIMARY
Self-proclaimed “crazy radical,” judgment-impaired candidate wins GOP nomination
Las Vegas, NV - What do Nevada Republicans have to say to a guy who lost a $17 million dollar court judgment, faces allegations of accepting illegal corporate contributions, and describes himself as a “crazy radical”? “Please--run for Congress!”
No, seriously, that’s what they did.
Even after showing a disturbing lack of business acumen -- which caused Tarkanian to incur a whopping $17 million judgment from a business deal gone bad -- Nevada Republicans have decided that three-time loser Danny Tarkanian is their man.
You can’t make this stuff up.
“Despite multiple attempts to run for public office and losing every one, Nevada Republicans nominated a severely-flawed candidate who promises to take us back to the very same extreme economic policies that wrecked our economy and are helping the rich get richer while the rest of us fall further behind,” said Nevada State Democratic Party spokesman Zach Hudson. “Steven Horsford has a record of putting Nevada’s middle-class first. In Congress, he will work to invest in education, fight for clean energy jobs, and help keep struggling Nevadans in their homes.”
