NV Dems Statement on NV GOP State Convention Today
Las Vegas, NV – Nevada State Democratic Party Chair Roberta Lange released the following statement in response to the 2012 Nevada Republican Party State Convention this weekend:
“What you are seeing today is that even Nevada Republicans are deeply divided over corporate layoff specialist Mitt Romney's pro-Wall Street, anti-middle class agenda. While President Obama is fighting to create jobs here in America, Mitt Romney shipped jobs overseas both in the private sector and as Governor of Massachusetts. As a corporate CEO, Romney shipped American jobs to places like Mexico and China and as Governor of Massachusetts, he outsourced state jobs to India, all while Romney invested his own wealth in a secret Swiss bank account. Nevadans will have a clear choice in this election between President Obama, who is committed to creating middle class jobs, and Mitt Romney, who is pushing for more special tax breaks for Wall Street corporations that ship jobs overseas.”
