Las Vegas, NV - Is the stress of a modern campaign getting a little too much for Senator Dean Heller?
After only three ads questioning how he used his office to promote a company that served as a front to launder drug money as well as to allow a company to bilk 40,000 investors out of $64 million on his watch – the kitchen is apparently getting a little too hot for Nevada’s junior senator.
Yesterday, when reporters inquired about his questionable history with his “good friend” and convicted felon drug trafficker Eddie Floyd, Senator Heller…well…flipped out.
Or as Jon Ralston said: threw a “mini-temper tantrum”. Or as the Review-Journal said: the ad “sets off Heller”.
After Heller and his allies have spent more than $3 million on ethics attack ads against Shelley Berkley (that the National Journal said has had no impact on the race) – apparently Heller can dish it, but he can’t take it.
