Divided We Fall?

What's the danger of a divided Party? I can summarize it in two words-Ned Lamont. Where is he now? The Democratic Leadership should be doing everything they can to insure "What happens in the Party, stays in the Party!" This will be the greatest test of Sen. Harry Reid's leadership. Let me share a poem?

Are Democrats the Party of choice? We maybe or maybe not? 2008 should be our White House year, but let's not forget about Ned Lamont. Conneticutt had a tough choice to make and "The Loserman" turned on us. If Hillary or Obama have nothing left to lose...should either spend our trust?

In conclusion, a leadership dedicated to the advancement of the values we stand for would defend our interest and avoid harsh feelings from burning us. What did Joe Lieberman do? - Cecil Jones

Superdelegates should be immune from "pressure" by racial or gender groups

Yes, Hillary is our gal, but even if Barack (our original choice) was our "guy", we feel cheated if our votes and work on behalf of the Democratic Party in two states we've lived in would be wasted on Superdelegates or delegates in general being divided along racial or gender lines. We are appalled that, although we weren't born yesterday...that this would arise and those leaders who had pledged to support Hillary are now switching to Barack based only on pressure from their constituents and church leaders! This should not happen either way. If NOW issued warnings that all women delegates or superdelegates MUST vote for Hillary at the Demo. Convention, we would also be appalled. Politics is politics, but we would hope that race and gender do NOT apply anymore. This is 2008, and the BEST person should represent the Democratic Party without pressure from either of these two groups....that is very Republican to think that way!! - Susan and Gary Jones
