THIS WEBSITE IS CORRUPTION AT ITS BEST

Just look at it. It has an “Elected officials” page and a “Candidates page”. If you look at the “candidates page” you will see that over 40 democrat candidates are missing from the “Candidates page”.

The only candidates that are listed are incumbents and some hand picked kiss ass candidates, picked from the corrupt democrats of the party.

What a scam for all of the poor democrats that do not know better!

Are insiders contrary to American ideals?

What is democratic about a group of insiders passing the torch from generation to generation? With 3000 delegates registering the night before Hunt set up a little over 2300 chairs. Just what does an insider have to do to lose his juice (job)? Looks like they have their Super Delegates waiting in reserve and now they intend to choose the State delegates. I don't see anything American about these insiders.Personally I'm beggining to lean toward Ralph Nader. - John Geremia

Obama or Hillary, which is the one? Look at their records? What has either done? One has no record! The other cried and won as a victim. They raised lots of money...and hope the Hispanics will pick em.

Hillary cried and Obama isn't ready. Do the Democrats want to win or do they "Hope" we win? I say, "Let's G-O! Gore-Obama! That's the ticket! - Cecil Jones

Just an idea

What if the Clark County Party headed by Ex. Dir. Johnson whom endorsed Hillary intended to ruin the convention? Obama had won 11 in a row and had a lot of momentum. The thing I can't understand is that they only had 2300 chairs and new 6000 delegates plus alternates had been elected. Growing up in Vegas I've seen evil things..........nobody had any idea how they were going to elect delegates to the State convention. They brought out cardboard boxes to stick your ballot in, walking around with them and I was even told one person went into a bathroom with a box full of ballots. Face things with eyes wide open and don't assume we have honest leaders. - John Geremia

Chaos At The Convention

It's inexcusable for the chaos that happened at the Democratic Convention. In a year that a Democratic Mob is trying to form behind one leader, the party is giving birth to "Twins." What caused all the excitement? Why can't we decide on a leader? What's causing all the confusion? Who's the Democrat's Daddy? Bill Clinton was impeached, but not removed. Obama came from Oprah's endorsement and "We Can." If someone can actually prove they are responsible for the impeachment and Obama's rise, I'd listen to them. The chaos is like trying to find the father of Danni Lynn. For those of you who don't know her, she's Anna Nicole Smith's baby. Larry Burkhead had to go through hell to get credit for what he did. Democrats should be more intellictually curious as to how we arrived in this terrible position. It's an embarassment of riches easily resolved by a "Super-Duper Delegate." Gore-Obama! Let's GO! - Cecil Jones

Peggy Maze Johnson Ex. Dir. Clark County Democrats endorsed Hillary

People have the right to know but I know they will remove this post. Below is a portion of a story that ran in CityLife:
reports that Peggy Maze Johnson, the former executive director of Citizen
Alert, joined Hillary Clinton's Nevada campaign this month. Citizen Alert is
best known for its efforts in opposing the nuclear waste dump at Yucca
Mountain.

"The bottom line is the best way to defeat Yucca Mountain is to elect a
Democrat, and I believe that Democrat is going to be Hillary Clinton," said
Johnson, who has worked for Citizen Alert since 2002. "She's absolutely
right on Nevada issues and Yucca Mountain, in particular."
Please read and pass on. - John Geremia

Return to the Primary

I agree with the sentiment above about returning to primaries. But I'm really posting because I was a delegate for my precinct and I attended yesterday's convention, and I thought the entire process was ridiculous. My biggest problem was with the number of alternates present; its great to have so many willing to be present as an alternate, elected delegates should have been given priority in terms of registering. As I left after the first alignment I saw MANY elected delegates (blue postcards in hand) still waiting to register. On the other hand, alternates easily made up half of the convention floor until they were asked to leave. What the heck??? Why did I have to stand in line behind them? And then your Sgt-At-Arms all had a different story; I was sent up and down the huge registration line twice; then, as I was finally about to enter "the room" to register the Sgt-At-Arms looks at my postcard and says "Oh, if you would have showed me that you wouldn't have had to stand in line. HUH? That's not what at least 6 other Sgt-At-Arms said.

I am NOT going to go through this again if I have to stand in a 2 hour line just to register. And the elected delegates should be lined up in a COMPLETELY SEPARATE line from alternates and guests. - HendersonDem

I was not very happy with the way that the convention was conducted on Saturday. It was a fiasco the way that the votes were collected in the boxes and then left to float around the room. The room was not big enough.First off it should have been set up that the alternates should have seated in a seperate room until the count for real delegates was done with speakers that they could hear the business that was being conducted in the main room. The convention should have been held at venue that was easy to get to for parking and seating such as Cashman or Thomas and Mack.I know that this is the first time that the convention has been this big but because of what happened at the caucus sights and expecting a large amount of people to attend the convention I would have thought these things would have been considered. It was enough to make oyu consider going back to the primary vote.Obama won I believe it was yesterday with the count of 512 to Clintons 388 this is kind annoying to see that our votes are being toyed with here in Clark county.I hope that when we are called back to vote that this has been worke out. - henriettap

Nice work, dummies. The media keeps saying the democrats have a knack for snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. We NEED this election for The White House and because the state party chose caucus instead of primary and we see today's MESS at the county conventions, The GOOD Party looks like a bunch of jerks. NEXT TIME, PRIMARY. - Elmer Fudd
