We didn’t want to do it. But we kinda had to. The chicken is back.

Why? Well, remember when Sue Lowden told you to take a chicken to the doctor? That was a little wacky. But since Chicken Sue lost the June primary, things in Nevada have gotten downright extreme.

Bunker dweller/on-again-off-again US Senate candidate Sharron Angle is afraid to take media questions about her tanking campaign and her dangerous positions on everything from Social Security and the Veterans Administration to Second Amendment remedies and government idolatry.

But it’s no wonder she’s afraid to face the mainstream media. They can smell fear, and the only thing Sharron Angle fears more than a TV camera is talking about her long-held positions on… everything.

Yesterday she ran and hid and tried to change the subject during a media firestorm over her refusal to condemn a despicable ad run by a Republican front group urging Hispanics not to vote. She was the only major candidate in Nevada to refuse to denounce the ad – even after the TV station slatted to run it said it would pull the ad.

Sharron’s DC handlers have convinced her – rightly – that that it’s political suicide to talk about what she really believes.  So, what’s the fix when you can’t talk about what you really believe? Lie. Bold faced. Direct to camera. Lie.

But eventually you’re bound to get caught. Eventually, the media’s bound to catch on to the fact that every time you leave the nest these days you tell a lie or two about your plan to kill Social Security and Medicare, your scheme to put corporate profits ahead of our promise to veterans and your irrational statement that it’s not your job to create jobs.

It’s a vicious cycle – leave the bunker and you’re forced to lie about your downright crazy positions. Lie about your downright crazy positions, get called out in the media and you’re forced to head back to the bunker.

So, Sharron Angle’s chicken to talk to the media. And she’s making it as difficult as possible for you to find her and ask her legitimate questions – such as why she’s the only one who hasn’t denounced a despicable ad telling Latinos NOT to vote – because she’s chicken. Enter: The Chicken.
