Republican Jewish Coalition meets at Venetian, but doubts swirl over whether Angle will leave the bunker

The Republican Jewish Coalition will rally at the Venetian tonight, and already speculation is mounting over whether elusive US Senate candidate Sharron Angle will make a rare, out-of-bunker appearance or continue to hide out from Nevada voters and the media.

Despite ChickenAngle’s best efforts, Angle has successfully avoided all media attempts to get answers about her extreme positions and the national firestorm she ignited a week ago with her racially-charged remarks at Rancho High School. 

Will the Nevada press corps be anymore successful in the final 10 days of the campaign? Angle’s DC handlers have sequestered her from all but the friendliest of audiences after their candidate alienated Hispanics, Asians, women, breast cancer survivors, people living with Autism, the unemployed and, well, Canada.

Oh, and the media that have bothered to pursue her, of course. This week Angle actually shushed a member of the Nevada presscorps when he tried to – imagine the nerve of him! – ask her aquestion.

Later the same day Angle – the woman who said it wasn’t her job to create jobs – ran from the media after speaking at a “Jobs Here, Jobs Now” rally. She ducked out the back as reporters attempted to ask her about the “shush” and her comments to a group of teen member of the Hispanic Student Union that they looked “a little more Asian.”

And while Angle’s DC handlers maintain that Angle has done plenty of public events, members of the Nevada press corps say they haven’t had the chance to pose Angle aquestion since the debate early last week.

But it’s no wonder she’s chicken to answer questions. The press wants to know why she’s lying about her real positions on killing Social Security and Medicare, privatizing the VA and eliminating the Department of Education.

So there’s speculation swirling over whether Angle will actually leave the bunker tonight to attend the Republican Jewish Coalition’s rally at the Venetian. Since Sharron Angle’s afraid to talk to the media or discuss her extreme and dangerous positions on… everything… who knows whether she’ll be there. But ChickenAngle will.
