FUNDRAISING FALLOUT: Dean Heller Calls in the Big Drum to Bail Out Embarrassing Fundraising Haul
Las Vegas, NV – What does an unelected Senator do when he has an embarrassing fundraising quarter in which his opponent raises double the amount that he does? He calls up his ethically questionable special-interest friend with benefits, of course!
Today, as part of our exposé investigation into Dean Heller’s cheating on Nevadans with Big Oil, Nevada Democrats discovered Dean Heller’s secret plan to bail out his fundraising after Congresswoman Shelley Berkley raised double the amount that he did in the 3rd quarter fundraising period. Where did we find this sensitive information you ask? On the street. Apparently Heller’s fundraising has dried up to the point where he has to send Slick out on the street hoping some of his Big Oil buddies will come by to throw a few bucks into his can.
While we compliment Heller for using – let’s call it unconventional – means to try to rescue his anemic fundraising, judging by the empty can it doesn’t look like Slick is having much luck on the street. Maybe it’s best Slick sticks with the high-dollar BP fundraisers. At least that way he’ll get some taxpayer giveaways out of it from Heller.
Will Slick’s fundraising with a can pay off? Judge for yourself:
