Don’t Let Sharron Angle Silence You

Where were you?

ChickenAngle has attended almost every public Sharron Angle event for the last week. Still, Sharron has successfully avoided all media attempts to get answers about her extreme positions or explain racially-charged remarks to local Hispanic students that have cased a national media firestorm. And as the stonewal lstretches on toward November 2nd, it seems the Nevada press corps has grown tired of looking for Sharron.

Her DC handlers have so far successfully sequestered her from all but the friendliest of audiences after a month of gaffes and controversies drove her underground.

This week Angle actually shushed a member of the Nevada press corps when he tried to ask her a question – and it barely seemed to register!

Even when Sharron does attend the rare public event, she doesn’t invite the mainstream media. At Thursday’s rally with Newt Gingrich, she ducked out the back door before reporters could ask her about the “shush” and her comments to a group of teen members of the Hispanic Student Union that they looked “a little more Asian.” At tonight’s event with Bush mouthpiece Ari Fleischer, the media couldn’t get past the front door.

We know why she’s chicken to talk to the media: You ask her real questions about her extreme and dangerous agenda to kill Social Security and Medicare, privatize the VA and eliminate the Department of Education whenever she leaves the bunker.

But guess what? If she won’t invite you, you’ll just have to crash her party. Because the people of Nevada deserve to know more about Sharron Angle’s positions on Second Amendment remedies, government idolatry and job creation (hint: it’s not her job).
