New Red Rock restaurant to hire 200 workers

A new restaurant and bar opening at the Red Rock Resort is looking to put 200 people to work.

Yard House, which also has a location at Town Square, will be kicking off its hiring effort to fill 200 positions Tuesday. The restaurant will open June 6.

Yard House is hiring for both front and back-of-house positions, including servers, bartenders, kitchen workers and management staff.

Applicants will be asked to demonstrate their restaurant skills. Bartender applicants will be asked to pour test shots and drinks using water to create “mocktails” and will be tested on drink recipes. Kitchen applicants will need to demonstrate several cooking techniques. Restaurant experience is a plus, but not necessary for all positions, according to the hiring announcement.

The hiring center will be open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Applications will be accepted until May 15.
