These are Republican Senate nominee Sharron Angle’s Ten Commandments for Nevada:
1. The idolatry of unemployment insurance, Social Security and Medicare must be forever removed from our midst.
2. Blame Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid for everything — forget about Gov. Jim Gibbons, Sen. John Ensign, former Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson and the Bush ownership society, please.
3. Avoid the media — my words will be used against me.
4. Any day I can raise money without answering real questions is a good day.
5. Let Nevada become a nuclear waste dump. It is only our home and should be exploited.
6. Kill all renewable energy projects and refuse to let Nevada become a supplier of clean energy to the nation. Support big oil and coal through total deregulation and elimination of the Environmental Protection Agency.
7. Cut education funding again, eliminate the U.S. Education Department and keep Nevada schools dead last.
8. Give bigger tax cuts to the rich and let the middle class know they are on their own, permanently.
9. What I say today, I can take back tomorrow. Trust me, really.
10. I covet Reid’s office, but I can’t work to bring new industries, jobs, education and prosperity to our state. I’ll be too busy leading filibusters for the Grand Party of No.
