Bush's disapproval rating worst of any president in 70 years

An article in the USA Today highlighted a recent USA Today/Gallup Poll that shows only 28% of Americans approving of the job George W. Bush is doing; 69% disapprove.

The author, Susan Page, also indicated that the disapproval rating is "the highest disapproval rating of any president in the 70-year history of the Gallup Poll."

Recent Pew Research Poll Shows Hispanics Shifting Toward Democrats

A recent poll shows that, "By 57 percent to 23 percent, more Hispanic registered voters say they favor Democrats than Republicans, according to a survey by the nonpartisan Pew Hispanic Center."

Bush approval rating still hovering around 30%

A new American Research Group poll released today shows that Bush’s approval rating is currently sitting at 31%, with 64% disapproving of his performance.

In addition, only 32% approve of the way Bush is handling the economy; 62% disapprove.

Los Democratas end a triumphant season

A few months ago, the Nevada State Democratic Party decided to sponsor a soccer team in a local Las Vegas league.  The purpose was to provide the party an opportunity to reach people who otherwise might not be involved in the political process, to educate people about the political process, and to mobilize people to participate in the upcoming Democratic Presidential Caucuses.

How low can he go?

A recent USA Today/Gallup poll reports that President Bush has surpassed former President Richard Nixon's record disapproval rating.  According to the poll a full 50% of the 1,024 adults polled in the survey stated that they "Strongly Disapproved" of President Bush.  That's 2% higher than the previous record high, 48%, held by former President Richard Nixon during the height of the Watergate Scandal.
