Assemblyman Mo Denis, representing Assembly District 28, recently gave the DNC’s Democratic Hispanic Radio address over Thanksgiving weekend.

In his address, Assemblyman Denis highlighted the importance of Thanksgiving as a remembrance of, ”America’s history of welcoming diverse peoples fleeing war, oppression, or economic uncertainty and a celebration of all those who found courage to wade through unchartered waters in hopes of a new and better life in America.”

In addition, he also called upon people to forego divisive politics in order to achieve a new sense of consensus. He stated that we should, “… reject the politics of division, hate, and partisanship, and remind each other that when any of us loses, we all lose. Only by working together can we continue to make America the great country it has always been.”
