A Message from Harry Reid: LAST DAY to register to vote!

By Nevada Democratic Party

Dear Friend,

Elections are about choices, and you face a very clear choice this year.

I was born and raised in Nevada and I still live here today.  I love this state and fight hard every day to help strengthen Nevada's working families and get our economy back on track.  My opponent has a very different approach.  In her world, when the going gets tough, you're on your own.  Look no further than her recent comments when she stood up on behalf of big insurance companies and declared they should not have to cover mammograms, colon cancer screenings, autism, and even maternity care.

She wants to kill Social Security and Medicare, privatize the Veterans Administration and eliminate the Department of Education and all the financial aid that comes with it. She called the unemployed “spoiled” while telling them it’s not her job to create jobs.

Nevada can’t afford Sharron Angle’s extreme agenda. That’s why in this very important election, every Democrat needs to be registered to vote. If you’re not sure if you’re registered to vote, click here to check your registration.

Tomorrow is the LAST DAY for Clark County residents with a Nevada driver’s license or state identification card who have never registered to vote in Nevada to REGISTER ONLINE HERE. Nevada is one of only nine states that allows residents to register online. It's important that we take advantage of this unique right.

You can also register by mail until tomorrow. If you don't qualify to register online, click here to print your mail-in voter registration form. They must be postmarked by tomorrow.

Finally, you can register in person until Oct. 12. Click here for a list of places where you can register in person.

Election Day is only a month away. Early vote begins in two weeks. Time is running out, and it's crucial to make sure our fellow Democrats are registered to vote. Pass this email on to your friends and ask them if they’re registered.

Together we can beat back Sharron Angle’s extreme views.

Sincerely,

Harry Reid

Senate Majority Leader
